Rising tide conservation project
The purpose of the rising tide conservation project is to protect coral reefs using agriculture, It is an environmental project that helps us take more care of the marine life. Ms. Lesley introduced this project to us by making us read articles, and watch different types of videos of the blue tang fish. Because of the movie Finding Dory coming out in the big screen during summer 2016, a lot of people wanted a blue tang fish, Dory, after watching the movie. The blue tang fish is one species of fish that is very difficult to breed, but scientist have found a way to successfully bred in captivity. The purpose of this project was to teach us how to captive breed ornamental fish, engineering to build our own aquarium.
Human body mini system project
The purpose of this human body system mini project was for us, students, to learn more about the human and the marine life body system. During this project we will have the opportunity to learn abut the anatomy and physiology of this two living systems. We will be working by ourselves researching about the Circulatory system, Nervous system, Digestive system, Respiratory system, Skeletal system, Muscular system, and the Immune system. Once we know everything about the human and the fish body system we will have to create a model to show our peers how that body part work. I will create a model of a hand muscle for a human.
